Axis Pistols page 309.  Finnish M23 Luger. Imported to the US. Mismatched as is typical. Unit disc removed after WW2.  This is a very rare 1923 DWM Luger that was part of a small contract order by the Finnish Army in the 1920s. Labeled the M/23, it's one of only ~8,000 produced. Finland was newly independent and sought Lugers to arm their military, but DWM was forbidden from production of military calibers (9mm) so these were produced in .30 Luger. It features the standards SA marking on receiver
